This international standard can be used by internal and external parties / specifies the requirements of the QMS when the organization wishes to:

B) Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes of continuous improvement of the system and ensure compliance with customers and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
All requirements of this Standard are general and intended to apply to any organization, regardless of their type or size, or the products and services they provide.
